Kate Bush and The Shining?

I guess that Kate Bush was inspired by The Shining, for her song "Get Out of My House":

I am really savoring this book. Although, I forgot how scary it really is!! I get to certain places at night and I think I should put it down so I don't have terrible nightmares.
